COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Please help us in our efforts to keep you, our guest, safe and protected, as well as help protect the safety and well-being of our employees.

We kindly ask that if you are feeling unwell, that you please opt to stay home, or order from one of our contactless delivery options.

Sanitation:

There are sanitizing stations set up upon entry into the restaurant. Please sanitize your hands immediately upon entry.

Handwashing is vital after using the restroom.

We encourage you to use your phone to access our menus digitally through a QR code that will be provided at your table. If preferred, a disposable one-time use paper menu can be provided.

Physical Distance:

Unfortunately, guests cannot stand around the bar or stand in the restaurant while waiting. We kindly ask that you wait outside or in your car while we prepare your table. We will text or call you when your table is ready.

Reservations are encouraged as this will allow us the necessary time to maintain proper sanitation protocols between reservations. Please visit figandolive.com to make a reservation.

Be mindful of other guests and keep your distance from them. All tables have been arranged with 6 feet between any two tables that are being used to help prevent crowding. Please notice markings on the floor around our host stand and bathrooms to help maintain the proper distance between other guests.

Surfaces:

While we are constantly sanitizing door handles and commonly used surfaces, still please be mindful of touching areas of the restaurant that are used frequently such as door handles and bathroom doors.

Face Masks:

Face masks are required to be worn over your mouth and nose when not seated at your table. While at your table and eating and drinking it is not necessary to be wearing a mask. Extra face masks are available at the sanitizing station near the host stand.

Children under the age of two, and those who are not able to medically tolerate a face covering, are not required to wear a face mask.

Hospitality:

We welcome you into our home and are taking every measure to keep you safe. Please be patient with us as we aim to exceed your expectations. Kindness and Understanding are greatly appreciated during these times.


NYC Vaccination Requirements:

The health & safety of our guests, employees and the community we live in is extremely important to us at FIG & OLIVE. In compliance with the Key to NYC vaccination requirements, all guests 12 and older are required to present proof that they have received at least one dose of any authorized vaccine to dine indoors at all FIG & OLIVE restaurants in New York City. Guests must present this at the front desk at the time of check in.

Acceptable Forms of Proof of Vaccination include:

•    CDC Vaccination Card (physical card or photo of card are acceptable)

•    NYS Excelsior Pass

•    NYC COVID Safe App

•    Official Vaccination Record (physical card or photo of card are acceptable)

International Proof of Vaccination:

Guests who have received the vaccine outside the U.S. must provide proof of immunization that includes the following information:

•    First & Last Name

•    Date of Birth

•    Vaccine Product Name

•    Date(s) Administered

•    Vaccination Site or Name of Person Who Administered the Vaccine

Proof of Identification:

All guests who appear 18 or older providing proof of vaccination must also provide proof of identification. This identification includes, but is not limited to:

•    Driver’s License

•    Non-Driver Government ID Card

•    IDNYC Card

•    Passport

•    School or Work ID Card

Unvaccinated Guests:

While unvaccinated guests are not allowed to dine indoors, they may still order takeout or dine outdoors where available and weather permitting. They may also enter the restaurant to use the bathroom or pick up a takeout order.
